Flood Early Warning System is a low maintenance flood alert system for both urban and rural areas to identify, manage and push for solutions for flood prone areas.
Capturing Data
Sensor nodes are placed in known flood prone areas as well as at specific locations for monitoring purposes.
Prediction
Utilising the data captured, analytic and machine learning; we can simulate affected area and allocate resources to the most needed areas before it happens. Early warning allows more time for emergency preparation, take action to minimize asset damage, trauma and death. Also allows better dissemination of information to residents on flood evacuation. Thus improving flood relief efforts.
Solution
With the area’s water level data on hand, we can also identify bottleneck flood prone areas and create solutions to tackle its root causes.
